Books I liked when I was younger!

When I was younger I had HEAPS of picture books. I liked lots of them but I clearly remember that one of my favorites was "Giraffes Can't Dance" by Giles Andreae. Giraffes can't dance was about a Giraffe named Gerald who (you can probably guess by the title) can't dance. Anyway Gerald has always longed to dance but his legs are too long and skinny and he just can't get it quite right. Gerald starts to dance in front of the other animals but ends up making a fool of himself and getting very embarrassed. Gerald wanders off into the jungle and meets a little cricket who does believe in him. He teaches Gerald that everyone should dance to their own beat. Gerald goes back to the other animals and they realise that giraffes can dance.
I loved this book so much that we even bought the audio book so when I was younger we used to listen to the story whenever we were in the car.
