Book Group!!!!!

 My book group is reading a book called running out of time. It is a really good book but I won't tell you the main plot because it kind of spoils the story. Our last book group session went pretty well. Our only problem is that we forgot to sort out who was bringing the food so we had sooo much food that we didn't know what to do with. We all had a say on what we thought about the book, we all read to where we were meant to. But I think the biggest improvement is that we all actually agreed on where to read to next without needing to have a vote!

Whatcha wanna do blue kangaroo?

When I was about 4 or 5 my favourite book was called ,whatcha wanna do blue kangaroo? It was about a little girl and her toy blue kangaroo. She was always very bored so she asked her mum, dad, auntie, sister, grandma and grandpa what to do. They all were to busy to help her think of what to do, So she asks blue kangaroo ( I think you all know what she says) whatcha wanna do blue kangaroo? Blue kangaroo says that they should have a tea party outside with the other toys. While they are outside its starts raining. The little girl goes back inside, but guess who she forgets? Blue kangaroo! The little girl worry's about blue kangaroo all night so she eventually goes outside to find him. When they come back in they both sit by the radiator. I loved this book and asked for my mum or dad to read it to me every night. 

  

Horse riding with Sarah

The most exciting thing I did in the holidays was that I got to go horse riding with Sarah. When we got to the stables we brought Sarah's horse Sam down from the paddock into the stables. Now it was time to groom Sam, my sister and Sarah started brushing him while I got the massaging tool and started massaging him. A short while after that Caoimhe and I went to our horse riding lesson, as we haven't been on a horse for ages. I rode a horse called Oscar and caoimhe had to ride an old, grumpy horse called Billy. We learnt how to trot and do changes of reins. By the time the lesson was over it was time to go home. It was a really fun day.
