My Obsession

The thing that i'm obsessed with at the moment is making videostars. Videostar is an app which lets you make cool music videos. There are heaps of effects to choose from. You can get videostar on any apple product. Anyway I love to make these as I love photography and being on camera. I lately have been doing ones to songs from Frozen, as its fun to act out the different characters. Acting is another one of my favourite things to do. Sadly some of the really good effects on videostar, you have to pay for. But don't worry you can still make really good videos without having to buy effects. Videostar is a really cool app and I definitely recommend you get it.

Statistics test

I was really happy about my results from the statistics test. On the first test I only got 62% but on the second test I got 97%!!! I definitely improved in the mean, median, mode and range, as on the first test I had absolutely no idea what they all meant. I need to work on making my angles more accurate as sometimes I forget what side to draw it on and once i had rubbed out the corner of the line so many times you couldn't even see where the angle started.


When we started talking about the mean, median, mode and range this year all my memories came flooding back to me. Including the ones of Mrs Bourne making us do lots of tests and quizzes about it!    

How I went on EOTC week

EOTC week was sooooo fun! My favourite day would probably be Thursday, which was the Capital E day. I was a interviewee and my interview went really well. I even made it into the newspaper! The only thing I didn't like about the week was that I did something to my back when we played ballrush, afterwards it really hurt. camp Kaitoke was another of the things I really liked. It took quite a while to get there but all the animals on the way kept us occupied, but the long bus ride was all worth it.

I was in group 1, so we did kayaking first. My most proudest moment was when I could stand up on my kayak and do head, shoulders knees and toes with my eyes closed! Sailing was another fun day as Abby and I pretended that we were the people from the titanic when we were allowed to go up to the front of our boat.  

    

Snorkeling!

For swimming I am in snorkeling! Recently we have been learning how to equalise our ears when we go under water so they don't hurt. We also have been learning the signs to do to show your snorkeling buddy if you have a problem. My snorkeling buddy is Grace D. I learnt how to jump in the water without getting my snorkel gear damaged. I really like snorkeling and I cannot wait till the next lesson!!!
