Ancient Egypt!

I was so happy when I heard we were doing Ancient Egypt for topic. A few years ago I decided to do Ancient Egypt as my speech for the speech competition. I soon became absorbed in finding out more about it. This term I learnt a lot more about war and weapons, I never really used to think Ancient Egypt had wars. The Nile was another aspect I learnt a lot from. Before I watched the powerpoint about the Nile, to me it was just a boring, old river. I chose how the Ancient Egyptians had fun for my double page spread. I saw the idea on the internet and thought that it would be interesting. My favourite activity so far has been rob my farm. I thought it was clever how that group changed rob the nest's rules to fit in with farming in Ancient Egypt. I really liked doing Ancient Egypt for topic and I would gladly do it again.

Gymnastics at Nairnville

For the past 6 weeks we have been doing gymnastics at Nairnville.First we have a warm up game followed by stretches , after that we split into our groups and do gymnastics, lastly we have a warm down game. Personally I like doing it as it's not that hard and I practice gymnastics at home and on Aisling's trampoline. My favourite thing we have been doing at Nairnville is probably doing flips on the bar. I really like the feeling of being upside down for some reason. I watch TV upside down, I play games upside down and sometimes I just do it clear all the stuff thats on my mind. I once tried drinking upside down but that didn't go so well. I also really enjoyed doing dive rolls. I really enjoy gymnastics at Nairnville and I hope I can start doing proper gymnastics after school.

I actually learnt how to play minecraft

During the past two days I actually learnt how to play minecraft! I tried to teach myself what to do, but it didn't go so well. I didn't even know how to move! Luckily Aimee came and gave me a talk about the basics. I think I remember most of it, but I still seem to always be clicking the wrong side of the mouse. People must be thinking " Why is Grace just digging holes in the ground", thats when I realise I was clicking the wrong side. I'm still a little shaky on what I'm doing, but I think over time it will come to me naturally!
