Poems!

You will probably know that for the past few weeks we have been learning about and writing poems. I find writing poems quite fun as I find it easy to come up with words that rhyme and how many syllables and all those other elements of a poem.
 My favorite type of poem that we have covered is probably limericks. I think limericks are completely crazy but I think that's one of the reasons why I like them! You can sort of let your imagination run wild while writing limericks, I find some other types of poems are really uptight and they make you frustrated. So here is a limerick that I wrote, I hope you like it too!





There once was a boy named Chuck
Who encountered a bubblegum truck
He stuffed so much gum
Straight into his tum
That his gum covered teeth got stuck!
