EPIC

Our school values are Empathy, Perseverance, Integrity and Creativity. Together they make up the acronym EPIC. Recently I showed the value of perseverance. On Tuesdays I have a one hour long dance class immediately followed by a 45 minute stretching and flexibility class. By the end of the day I am pretty tired. Yesterday in stretch class we were going to do the splits. I have been trying to do the splits for about a year and a half. I  have enviously watched other people do the splits hoping that one day I might be able to do them. Anyway I put my left leg in front of my right leg and started to push down. I showed the value of perseverance by pushing my legs down further even when it was hurting. As a result of it I am only about a centimetre off the ground when I do the splits. The value that I find the easiest is probably perseverance and the value that I find the most difficult is integrity.
