Big Day Out!

Wow! The end of term is only like two weeks away! And everyone knows that at the end of the last term the big day out comes around. My favorite big day out was quite a few years ago when we went to h20 extreme. I know some people will disagree with me saying "but it was too crowded", or " oh but the lines for the slides got to long". I really enjoyed this big day out even though I did not get a go on the slides.
I would like for us to go to h20 again but I doubt that it will happen.
So where do you think the big day out will be this year Grace?
I honestly don't know.
Up until last year I always thought that we were going to go to some nature reserve or bird sanctuary place, but last year Mrs Taylor surprised us with bowling and sports, so I'm not really sure where it will be this year. For one thing I know it's not swimming (sadface:(   ) so I have a feeling that it will be at some sort of outdoor park.

 So much has happened  this year so I'm going to talk about one of my favorite events from this year.

The cake decorating competition was probably one of my favorite things this year. Sylvia and I decided to create a Hansel and Gretel cake. We saw a picture of how to make a house out of cake on the internet and I totally underestimated how difficult it would be. Cutting out the house wasn't that hard but when we covered it in icing it kind of looked like a demented soft toy. It was only till we decorated it that it actually started to resemble a house. I was really proud of our finished cake, despite the mishaps along the way it actually turned out looking really awesome.
